The last weekend of January (27th and 28th) sees the first Association of Northern Universities Sailing Clubs (ANUSC) Fleet Racing championships.
This event is to give the fleet racers amongst you a chance to shine up north and provide a (possible welcome) break from team racing.
The aim of the event is to both encourage sailors from institutions that currently have no team but wish to compete in the university circuit along with those which are regulars at events.
The event is being hosted by Newcastle University who are very experienced at organizing big events, such as BUSA Team Racing Championships 2005 and TTT (The Tyne Tournament).
