UK has three university teams at the Student Yachting World Cup at La Trinité-sur-Mer in Quiberon Bay, Brittany – Glasgow, Solent and Southampton. They are competing against teams from Canada (Dalhousie University), China (Xiamen University), France (Euromed Management School), Ireland (Cork Institute of Technology), Italy (CUS Milano), Japan (Kobe University), Norway (NTNU University), Poland (Jagiellonian University), Portugal (Nautical School Dom Henrique), Spain (Technical University of Madrid), Switzerland (EPFL) and USA (Maine Maritime Academy).
We must just hope the wind reduces enough for them to get underway on Tuesday
