The Calendar includes all BUCS-BUSA sailing events, relevant RYA and other events (including international) and programmes in which student sailors and teams regularly compete or participate (e.g. Keelboat Squad). The Calendar carries all university events hosted by BUSA Member Clubs (USCs) that are notified to us (inclusion is discretionary, but no other events are listed on the first or second weekend of November, which is reserved for the BUCS-BUSA Fleet Championships, see Calendar). Events for inclusion should be notified to the BUSA Editor or by using the Contact Form.
Imperial College Sailing Club hosts the Imperial Icicle at Wembley Sailing Club.
"After the success of previous years, the Icicle is back on the 16th/17th of February. This time we are pleased to be hosting 21 teams in four flights of boats, bringing you more competition and good times out of the water!
"The weekend will be packed with two full days of competitive team racing, sandwiched with 2 legendary socials in Central London on Friday and Saturday! Free accommodation will be provided to all teams.
"The fee for entering one team will be £275, a second team will be £225, and any subsequent teams will be £200. The deadline for entry is 16/01/19".

Cambridge University Cruising Club's annual team racing event offers top-level competition, in some of the best boats, at one of the UKs premier clubs.
The Cam Cup is run over two days at Grafham Water SC.
The event is accompanied by an unmissable black-tie dinner. which is traditionally followed by dancing in Cambridge's finest Ladies' and Gentlemen's club.
