The Calendar includes all BUCS-BUSA sailing events, relevant RYA and other events (including international) and programmes in which student sailors and teams regularly compete or participate (e.g. Keelboat Squad). The Calendar carries all university events hosted by BUSA Member Clubs (USCs) that are notified to us (inclusion is discretionary, but no other events are listed on the first or second weekend of November, which is reserved for the BUCS-BUSA Fleet Championships, see Calendar). Events for inclusion should be notified to the BUSA Secretary or by using the Contact Form.

Exeter Excalibur will run from the 7th-8th March 2020 and will additionally include a social on the Friday night before the event (Friday 6th March) for teams arriving the night before. The event will run similarly to previous years and will thus include two days of team racing and two nights of fantastic socials in Exeter. However, this year we are bidding to improve the standard of the event and will thus be limiting entries to 18 teams. With 4 flights of boats and only 18 teams it should allow for more high quality racing with some of the top teams in the country.
As with all most university events, accommodation to travelling sailors will be provided by members of the Exeter Sailing Club.

"The Wilson Trophy is a phenomenal event on the water with typically close to 300 races being run over the course of the event but it is equally well regarded for its off the water activities where long standing friendships are rekindled from around the world and the infamous Wilson dinner which now always includes a mystery guest speaker, the awarding of the Joyce Evans Trophy to the crew deemed most worthy and the now traditional singing of Jerusalem lead by Wilson stalwarts the Southampton Male Voice Choir. Fierce racing, fiercer socials and the 8am start times on Saturday and Sunday really make for one unforgettable event. This year the event is also going to be captured by VR Sport".
Entries are due by 5pm 16 February 2020
