The Calendar includes all BUCS-BUSA sailing events, relevant RYA and other events (including international) and programmes in which student sailors and teams regularly compete or participate (e.g. Keelboat Squad). The Calendar carries all university events hosted by BUSA Member Clubs (USCs) that are notified to us (inclusion is discretionary, but no other events are listed on the first or second weekend of November, which is reserved for the BUCS-BUSA Fleet Championships, see Calendar). Events for inclusion should be notified to the BUSA Secretary or by using the Contact Form.

The Angel of the North is jointly hosted by Newcastle and Durham USCs at Derwent Reservoir SC.

The Bristol Brew is back again!!
On the 30th November – 1st December the Brew takes place at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club.
With two days of competitive team racing just before Christmas, the Brew is one of the biggest university team racing events in the South West.

After last year's successful debut for the South Central Regional Training, we return this year to Spinnaker SC for another great coached event. The aim of the event is to provide affordable and competitive inter-university race training to those teams that want boost their result at the regional qualifiers, and tune up with their competition!
You'll gain access to 3 top quality coaches, all highly experienced and successful in team racing and Fireflies.
- Saturday will provide team race training bringing to scratch all your team's boat handling, manoeuvres and combinations ready for the competition season
- Sunday will give all teams the chance to pit their skills against one another in an umpired and coached mini-series; we'll run as many races as humanely possible and give out spot prizes

The annual Badger is a fun, sociable team racing event and a great way to start your 2020. With Qualifiers following soon after, it's perfect for competitive practise and to help prepare your team. As always, there will be socials throughout the weekend organised by Brunel, as well as easy access to central London for any plans you want to organise. Brunel sailing would be delighted to host any teams for a wonderful weekend full of friendly socials and expert sailing.

Oxford University Yacht Club's annual invitational event sees the top 8 university teams battling it out on Farmoor Reservoir over an intensive 2 days.Entry by invitation only.

Imperial College Sailing Club hosts the Imperial Icicle at Wembley Sailing Club.
After the success of previous years, the Icicle is back on the 15th/16thof February 2020. Get ready for more competition, amazing socials and good times out of the water!
The weekend will be packed with two full days of competitive team racing, sandwiched with 2 legendary socials in Central London on Friday and Saturday! Free accommodation will be provided to all teams.
The fee for entering one team will be £275, a second team will be £225, and any subsequent teams will be £200. Make sure it is payed within two weeks of entering to secure your place.
