Calendar
The Calendar includes all BUCS-BUSA sailing events, relevant RYA and other events (including international) and programmes in which student sailors and teams regularly compete or participate (e.g. Keelboat Squad). The Calendar carries all university events hosted by BUSA Member Clubs (USCs) that are notified to us (inclusion is discretionary, but no other events are listed on the first or second weekend of November, which is reserved for the BUCS-BUSA Fleet Championships, see Calendar). Events for inclusion should be notified to the BUSA Secretary or by using the Contact Form.

Cam Cup 2026 will be hosted by Cambridge University Cruising Club on Grafham Water. It will be a high quality weekend both on and off the water so grab your black tie and get ready to race some of the best teams around.

Join Exeter University Sailing Club at the annual Exeter Excalibur for a weekend of competitive sailing amongst the top university and alumni teams along with some huge socials. This event is the perfect opportunity to prepare your teams for BUCS finals as one of the last events of the team racing season.
University of Manchester and the University of Liverpool are excited to announce the best team racing event in the world, (we think), the Lash 2026. Promises to be a weekend of world class team racing and unbelievable socials. Hosted at West Kirby Sailing Club on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of March with the socials held in Liverpool.
We’re pleased to announce the return of Swansea Spartan, a full weekend of team racing and two nights of epic socials. Hopefully see you all there!!!
Join us on March 28-29, 2026, for the Annual Student Match Racing event in Plymouth. We’ll be racing on the University Yacht Club's J80s, using symmetrical spinnakers. It’s a great opportunity to race, improve your skills, and meet other students. With plenty of sailing and social time, it’s sure to be a memorable weekend.

You only need to find one friend to solve all of these problems and more at Wrath O'Strath, the UK's premier Firefly 2v2 random pairs event. With maybe the best socials and definitely the best food at any team racing event, the bright sunshine and crystal clear waters of Fannyside Loch are the place to be at the end of May.
The University of Birmingham Sailing Club is delighted to invite you to another fantastic weekend of team racing, socials and fun at Old Joe on the 5-7th June 2026. This event is open to all student and alumni teams and will take place at South Staffordshire Sailing Club!
