BUCS Team Racing Championship involves over 500 sailors competing on behalf of their universities at ‘Qualifiers’ (four venues in each of four 'Areas' of England and Wales in early February and, in Scotland, at three ‘League’ weekends between November and February).
The top 4 teams from each 'Area Qualifiers' will qualify to compete at the BUCS Team Racing Final Championship held in April.
Teams positioned 5th - 7th from each of the 'Area Qualifiers' will qualify to compete at the BUCS Team Racing Playoffs. The top 7 teams from Playoffs will be invited to compete at BUCS Team Racing Final Championships.
Qualifiers took place on February 1st-2nd 2020, the reserve weekend of 15th -16th February 2020 will be used to complete the South-Central Qualifier series.

Post Playoff Championship Results
The Team Racing Championship Final will be help on 13th -15th April 2020 at Grafham Water Sailing Club, hosted by Cambridge University
Senior BUSA officers met by conference call last night to discuss with the Technical Delegates and BUCS the feasibility of running the Team Racing Finals in the current climate. Having considered the latest UK Government advice and the decision of the Royal Yachting Association to postpone or cancel all RYA events up to the end of April, the decision has been taken to cancel the Finals. Given the limited time remaining in the academic year, it will not be possible to re-schedule the Finals.
We would like to thank Cambridge and Graham Water for all their work planning for the Finals and BUSA looks forward to the 2020/2021 season.
