UBSC are proud to announce that The David Haw Memorial Trophy is back for 2023!

DHMT is a weekend for all friends and family of David to come together and celebrate his life, through high quality J70 racing and, in true David style, even higher quality partying on the Saturday night.

There wasn’t a member of UBSC that was unaffected by David’s tragic accident at sea, and so we will be raising money in his memory for the various fantastic charities that worked day and night to find our beloved friend:

The weekend will consist of 2 days of BKL style racing in J70s and a formal dinner in Southampton on Saturday evening. Entry and dinner tickets will be sold separately and non-competitors are more than welcome to join us for the dinner. Entry is open to all friends, family and sailors who wish to celebrate David’s life with us.
