Cardiff University Sailing Club sails at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club
Cardiff University Sailing Club sails at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club and welcomes everyone from complete beginners to experienced sailors. We run sessions every Wednesday afternoon, plus some weekends weather permitting, mixing taught sessions with free sailing.
For more experienced sailors, we run 3 competitive teams entering regular events including BUCS, and host our own event, the Welsh Dragon, usually in mid-November, welcoming teams from across the country. We’re also expanding our yacht racing side, using Cardiff Bay Yacht Club’s fleet of 707s for cruising, fleet racing and match racing.
Off the water, we run weekly Wednesday socials with themes and fancy dress, a great way to meet fellow sailors midweek. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
