Oxford University Yacht Club

Oxford University Yacht Club is the society that provides sailing opportunities for students and other members of Oxford University. OUYC runs activities for any sailor, whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned sailor.

Our club offers both dinghy sailing [team racing & social-sailing] and yachting [inshore racing, offshore / summer racing & cruising].

The two Team Racing events hosted by OUYC on the Farmoor Reservoir are the Oxford Magnum (12/13 November 2016) and the Oxford (Top Gun) Invitational (4/5 March 2017). The yacht cruising Extravaganza is held in the Solent over the weekend (26-28 February, 2017). And, of course, there are Varsity Matches in the yacht and dinghy disciplines.

If you want to find out more, then check out our website for more info about the great sailing that you can experience through OUYC.

If you have any more questions about OUYC, please don't hesitate to contact us: Vice Commodore for general inquiries concerning the club). Yacht Racing Captain if you are interested in getting involved with yacht racing. Dinghy Racing Captain if you are interested in getting involved with dinghy racing.
