Teams from all over the country will be heading to Queen Mary Sailing Club, Staines, this weekend (17-18 March) to battle it out for the honour of becoming BUSA RYA Match Racing Champion for 2007.
It’s an age old battle of ‘North versus South’ with Qualifier 1 winner Griogair Whyte (Glasgow) and runner-up Charlotte Lawrence (Edinburgh) keen to fight the Southern Teams from Qualifier 2. Leading the Southern teams is Jon Pinner (Cambridge) closely followed by Stephen Powell (Exeter), Robbie Allam (Cardiff) and Nick Cherry (Southampton).
The winner and runner-up from this event will be invited to attend the RYA National Match Racing Finals at Weymouth from 12-14 October.
