The first BUSA-organised match racing training event will be held in Cowes on the last weekend on August. We’ll be hiring out 6 Sonars from Island sailing club and two brilliant coaches; Andy Cornah and Ellie Cumptsy. The event is partly subsidies by BUSA, making the entry £415 per team if we reach our capacity of 9 teams.
There are also prearranged food/accommodation options: (1) £78 per person includes accommodation in UKSA (short walk from Island SC) for Friday and Saturday nights with breakfast, packed lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. (2) £39 per person includes accommodation for Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday.
The boats are raced with teams of 4-5 people, however we can accommodate bigger teams who want to rotate out throughout the weekend.
