After an exciting weekend of university sailing the results from the BUSA Team Racing Qualifiers have been announced. Over sixty teams from all over England competed last weekend at Grafham, Farmoor, West Kirby, Spinnaker and Chew Valley Lake, some facing snow and 35 knot gusts to sail over the weekend.
This year BUSA tried out a new format for qualifying for the Finals and are pleased to announce that it has been a resounding success.
Bethan Carden, BUSA Team Racing Coordinator, commented, ‘The weekend was a great success and it’s very encouraging to see so many teams out on the water. Thanks to the Area Reps (Charlotte Savage, Ed Knight and Ben Towell), Dave Newey and Ben Lister for organising the events.’
