Results now in for the Student Yachting Nationals!

After an exciting and challenging week at the Student Yachting Nationals, being held at the Royal Southern YC with , the results are now in.

After coming 2^nd at last years Championships, Simon Berry, skipper of Southampton Solent White, was keen to push for the win this year.  His team have constantly sailed well this week finishing off with a 1^st and 2^nd in the racing today, and have won be a lead of 6 points.  The Team have now won the skippers weight in beer, kindly sponsored by Carlsburg.

In 2^nd place is team 1, skippered by Ben Lister.  This team, fresh from winning the BUSA Team Racing Championships last week, managed to win 5 of the 8 races! 

SUSA Yachting Champions, Strathclyde skippered by Angus Stevenson, put in a great performance, having been in 2^nd place, for most of the week, they where finally beaten by ‘s consistent scores.

4^th     Newcastle 1, Skipper: Jonny Coate

6^th     Southampton Solent Red, Skipper: Ian Turnbull
