"As a key part of ongoing discussions around the current operations and future directions of BUSA, the BUSA Sailor Survey 18/19 was initiated by the BUSA Committee in October 2018. This was regarded as an opportunity for us to gain some broad feedback from current students as to how we operate, as well as to better understand areas of weakness and how we could action these going forward.
"Following a two-week period of sharing the survey across our media channels and within University Sailing Clubs, the BUSA Committee would like to say a massive thank you to the 176 students that made their opinions heard. These responses have already provided valuable input and highlighted several areas needing improvement.

"The BUSA Committee are now working towards improving several of these points made by students.
Whilst some changes will become immediately evident, such as the introduction of a new official BRITISH UNIVERSITIES SAILING ASSOCIATION Facebook page to better aid communications between members and the Committee, other points require more detailed consideration, and changes are in the pipeline.
Later in the year, a summary of key areas of improvement identified and resulting actions will be published.
