It’s just over a month to Heat 2 of the Royal Southern Academy Match Cup on 5/6 March, an ISAF Open Grade 4 event. Heat 1 was won in convincing style by Andy Shaw, and the good news is that he’s not competing in Heat 2!
Sam Pearson, second in Heat 1 said of the event: “We really enjoyed it. It was good to get in a new boat and the crew really enjoyed the asymmetrics”, while third placed Rob Gullan enjoyed it so much that he’s having another go in Heat 2: “This is a brilliant event ? better run than any I’ve been at. It’s great to be at such a friendly Club, a good experience, and we all loved the asymmetric sailing.”
So, we’d love to hear from you. Two days of full on Match Racing in Laser SB3s with International Umpires doesn’t get any better at £280 for the weekend, including the charter of SB3s from Pelican Racing.
