BUSA invite USCs to bid to hold 2020 Team Racing Qualifiers 2020
Following the 2019 BUSA AGM, the new BUSA Committee for 2019-20 has been announced.
The Sunsail Trophy and BUCS medals were awarded to Exeter, together with Championship medals for Edinburgh and Swansea. The John Derbyshire Trophy was awarded to Bristol, together with Trophy medals to team, Cambridge and Southampton Red. Oxford White, which had also won the traditional Big BUSA Bake Off competition, was pronounced the Coach’s choice of most progressed team.
The best UK & Irish university team racers were at Spinnaker Sailing. Exeter Blue won a close final from Cambridge Blue, with Southampton Green third overall from Oxford Blue in the petit final.
Matt Whitfield (Southampton) successfully defends his 2018 title from Murray Hampshire (Exeter) in a dramatic sudden-death last race
